The food is great and for a good price! Just make sure you double check your order before driving off. I like the wet bean and cheese burrito with guac is my favorite and the spicy orange salsa is yum!
I got a bean and cheese burrito. Very on par with what I expected. Tortilla is a bit dry but otherwise a good spot for a quick pickup and go.
We parked here for lunch before heading up to Big Bear Mountain for a day of skiing with the kids. This place doesnt look like much from the outside, but they serve an excellent taco plate, customized burritos and even had fries for the little ones. The service was prompt and friendly. We will stop here again before we head back home.
It's been quite a while since I've had Mexican food that checked all the boxes. perfect chilequilles Mexican rice done right beans made just right The owner offered to let me try the green and red chili to make sure it wasn't too hot and to see which I preferred,. If you're in the area, go try it out!
We tried five different meat tacos...asada, buche, cuerito, lengua, and pastor....all delicious. Prices weren't bad, place was clean, the guy at the register was pleasant. We will be back next time we are in Big Bear.
I was looking for authentic tacos in Big Bear, and this place hit the spot. Many places can be overpriced because of the tourist area, but they had the perfect fit for the family. From burritos to tacos to hamburgers to tamales and menudo (while supplied last ) ! The salsa was also fire, I'm not so good with spicy salsa, but this one was worth the burn! Lol, parking is ample, and there's plenty of seating, so bring the Familia! The noise level is average, of course with everyone ordering , driving thru, and the crunching of tortillas chips. The noise is average , so I hope you're in for the chit chat ! Staff is so friendly, and they don't push anything on you. They're very honest about their food, and they're willing to ask the 21 questions you may have. I'd you're thirsty, they have fountain drinks and the classic jarritos and Mexican soda ! Can't go wrong with that! So bring your hunger, bring your cash(or card) & indulge in this gem on your next trip up! Dress casual, we are all family here.
We visited the drive through on a Sunday evening with only two other cars in the parking lot. We didn't wait very long for food which I was a bit nervous about according to a few reviews. But everything was out in a timely manner, (I rather not have McD's speed Mexican food)! I ordered kid meals- Tacos & Chicken nuggets and an order of taquitos. The meals were filling, beef was seasoned well and taquitos delicious but not worth what they charge. From the outside it seemed like a clean establishment. I will definitely go back next time we are visiting Big Bear!
I can't speak to the service or ambiance of this spot since my hubby picked up a to-go order for us BUT I can say the food is bomb.com. The breakfast burritos are a must try when you're in town. Fast. Super flavorful. 10/5
